New Year’s Resolutions for 2015

I’m taking a break from writing about education to write my New Year’s resolutions for 2015.

Every bone and joint aches now, but it’s all right.  I recently started training in martial arts again and, at 43 and in terrible shape, I figure it will take me a while to rediscover the fitness I used to feel when I trained before.  Add to that the fact that what I’m learning now is nothing like what I learned years ago.  It’s harder, requires more athleticism, and has nothing to do with training for tournaments.  Instead, we are learning how to handle dangerous situations and how to conduct ourselves in all situations.  The motto of the school is “Attack Life, Not Others.”
